At St Ursula’s, we value the learning that can take place outside the classroom.
Teacher clubs, held after academy and at lunchtimes, teach the children to work with others, to persevere when activities are tricky and to be proud of their achievements. There are regular opportunities for children to perform to show the skills they have learnt.
All of our staff members bring with them their own talents, skills and interests, so we are always expanding the range of learning opportunities outside the curriculum. Teachers, teaching assistants and parents all contribute to the sessions offered.
Musical talent is nurtured and celebrated in teacher clubs and music lessons, and assemblies and concerts give pupils the opportunity to perform to an audience while celebrating their success.
