PE

We all have PE on Wednesday mornings in Reception. We ask that children come to school wearing their PE kits (Black joggers, white T shirt and appropriate footwear) to save time  getting them changed in and out of their school uniform!

Forest School

We are very lucky at St Ursula’s to have our very own forest area and trained Forest School Leaders. In Reception, each class goes to the forest for one whole afternoon a week where they learn to take risks, explore and challenge themselves in their learning. On your class’ forest day, we require that you send your child to school dressed in their Forest Kit: long sleeved top, trousers and appropriate outerwear for wet or cold weather.

Paddington Class goes to Forest on Thursdays, Elmers on Monday and Gruffalos on Tuesday. This does change occasionally but we will endeavour to keep you well informed of any changes.

Communication

Keep an eye out for notices in your child’s class window, letters in book bags and speak to your class teacher.
